Professional background and experience
  • Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in product management, preferably in telecommunications, SaaS, or e-commerce platforms.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling digital business.
  • Strong experience in B2B or B2C platform development, with expertise in pricing models, quoting tools, and subscription services.
  • Proficiency in Agile, Lean (scaleup), Design-thinking, Interaction design, User Experience Design.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI best practices and ability to collaborate with users, designers and developers to enhance product usability.
  • Experience in telecommunications, internet services, or marketplace platforms is a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or other ERP platforms is a plus.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the development of our SaaS platform that makes connectivity simple again. You will drive growth of our e-commerce business and hence play a key role in defining the product roadmap, improving user experience, and driving innovation to simplify how customers compare, purchase, and manage internet access services.

Your profile is that of a (commercial) business leader who gets things done. Leveraging  your strong interpersonal skills you are responsible to drive the growth from on-line revenue. A goal-getter with strong planning, communication and delegation/coordination skills, who leads the transformation of our current portal into a popular SaaS platform, with a single aim to empower enterprise IT leaders, by providing them with attractive connectivity offerings ensuring a seamless and delightful user experience.

Key responsibilities

We’re looking for a hands-on Head of Finance / Controller to oversee the financial function and ensure operational excellence at a critical point in our growth journey. As a key player in our leadership team, you'll report directly to the CEO and work closely with the executive team to shape our long-term financial strategy and drive decision-making.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and manage the finance team, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and financial discipline in everything we do.
  • Own our financial reporting process, leveraging Dynamics ERP to provide strategic insights through robust monthly and quarterly dashboards.
  • Drive continuous process improvements to automate workflows and ensure timely, accurate reporting and cash flow optimization.
  • Collaborate with external partners (bookkeepers, accountants, tax advisors) and internal departments to monitor margins, revenue assurance, and cost control.
  • Take ownership of vendor management, ensuring that every invoice is accounted for, and payments are timely.
  • Implement and uphold financial best practices, including developing KPIs for revenue, margins, and cost management across departments.
  • Guide and mentor a talented finance team, including a Junior Controller, Financial Admin support, and Invoicing Specialist, to ensure efficiency and growth.

Who You Are:

  • Experienced: 7+ years of experience in finance, ideally in Telecom or subscription-based businesses. You’ve been hands-on in all aspects of finance, from budgeting to reporting and cash flow management.

You'll be a key player in our operations, working closely with customers, handling escalations, and driving technical excellence across our global services.

What you will do and what you bring:

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Designing, implementing, and optimizing global corporate networks based on customer needs, ensuring secure and high-performance connections
    • Collaborating with our Support team, NOC and partners to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, ensuring SLA compliance and customer satisfaction
    • Collaborating with our Sales team to identify and support new opportunities, as well as enhancing services for existing customers
    • Performing network performance analysis and recommending improvements to enhance reliability and scalability
    • Providing technical support for escalated issues and acting as a key technical resource for both internal teams and customers
    • Assisting in the deployment and management of our Data Center and Firewall Infrastructure
    • Staying updated on the latest technologies and industry trends to maintain operational excellence and security

  • What We’re Looking For:
    • A minimum of 5 years of network engineering experience in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-level networks
    • A bachelor's or master's degree in information technology (preferred)
    • Cisco CCNP certification (or higher), or equivalent qualifications or experience in network engineering
    • Experience with SD-WAN, SASE, and other network security solutions
    • Strong troubleshooting skills with a hands-on mentality to address a wide range of tasks, from deployment to issue resolution
    • Proven ability to work in customer-facing environments with excellent communication skills
    • Project management skills with a structured, systematic approach to managing tasks and deliverables
    • Strong English communication skills (Dutch is a strong plus)
    • Willingness to travel within Europe for short business trips

Working from our office in Amsterdam, you support our on-line marketing efforts, by helping implement and automate a scalable lead-generation process. This process attracts, nurtures and keeps track of contacts in our target group.
